Where, in the first session, which was attended by Dr. Hoda Al-Absi, Minister of Education, and Professor Omit, Director of Azaz National Hospital, which took place in the office of the Presidency, Prof. Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Daghim presented an introductory brief about the university, then Prof. Dr. President of Aleppo University accompanied Prof. Dr. President of Mardin University A tour of the university’s departments, offices and halls, as well as a tour of the students who take the YUZ exams at the University of Aleppo, according to the protocol signed with Mardin University and answering their inquiries.
Then, the President of the University of Aleppo and the University of Mardin and Mr. Umit went to the central library at the university to participate in an expanded discussion session attended by faculty members and a number of students. The discussion revolved around strengthening cooperation relations between the two universities, opening new specializations, and implementing study plans in the two universities in the Arabic language. .
It was also talked about activating scientific visits between the two universities and sending five to ten students from each specialization at the University of Aleppo from the specializations at Mardin University as a student delegation to visit Mardin University and study a chapter there. between the two universities and obtaining the necessary permissions from the Turkish Higher Education Council and the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey.
At the end of the meeting at the University of Aleppo, Prof. Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Daghim thanked the President of Mardin University, and souvenirs were exchanged, where the President of the University of Aleppo presented the university’s shield to the President of Mardin University in honor and appreciation for his visit, and the President of Mardin University presented the university’s shield to the President of Aleppo University, then The presidents of the two universities, along with a number of deans of faculties and institutes, accompanied Professor Umit, went to visit Azaz National Hospital and toured its departments.

It is noteworthy that the University of Aleppo has signed a previous cooperation protocol with Mardin University, and in the previous month it signed another protocol with the University of Kutahya. These efforts come as part of the university’s ongoing quest to obtain global recognition in the certificate granted by the University of Aleppo and open the horizons for its students.
