Starting activities of the first international scientific conference titled by "Higher Education During The Crises"
The activities of the first international scientific conference started under sponsorship of the prime minister of Syrian interim government “The higher education during crises”, which organized by Free Aleppo university and Medad center for educational studies and researches.
The conference idea came from increasing the crisis caused by conflicts natural disasters and pandemic in the world during the last five decades, various crises extend including all ages and remain to the next succeeding generations.
In addition to search the reality and results the educational process during unexpected crisis such as Covied 19, wars and revolutions that spread in many of the countries of the world as the Syrian revolution. the conference tries to participate with the sustainable development.
The prime minister of Syrian interim government attended the first day of the conference accompained with many of ministers as well as the president of higher educational council, the presidency of Free Aleppo university in free areas, council of university secretaries, education without limits institution – Medad, and Medad center for studies and researches.
Many of universities presidents attended the conference, and many of centers of studies and researches, deans of faculties in the university as well as the teaching adminstrative and technical staff and hundreds of academics and researchers.
The conference continued to two days and included discussion more than 60 scientific reseaches and papers which aimed to present the successful international experiences in fields of higher education in crisis and to recognize the newest academic researches and applied studies in higher education in crises.
The conference looks forward to recognize the challenges imposed by war circumstances, displacement and epidemics which face higher education institutions and to overcome these challenges. It seeks to understand the reality of higher education for students in Syria, and how to support them and correction the psychological influence of the war towards teaching the syrian young.
It shuold be noted that the embassy of Syrian Arab Republic in Qatar, ACU, SAMS organization, Syria TV, and Aleppo Today TV participated in organizing the conference.
