The first constituent conference to study the psychological, educational, and social phenomenon in the north of Syria.
Free Aleppo University in cooperation with Younus Imra institute and the psychological and social guidance center held the first constituent conference for study the psychological, educational, and social phenomenon in free northern of Syria.
This conference started after the project of social research in the north of Syria. There is a team of students who work on this project from the faculty of education at free Aleppo university supervised by Dr. Abdul Hai Mahmoud and Dr. Hosam Ibrahim, which target to study the psychological, educational, and social problems and phenomenon in the north of Syria to access the protective ways and the attempt to solve.
Prof. Dr. Abdulaziz Aldughaim, the president of free Aleppo university attended the conference in addition to the justice minister in Syria’s Interim government Mr. Hapoush Latah, Dr. Imad Barq the president of the higher teaching council, and Dr. Muhammed Ramez Korj the vice president for administrative affairs.
Moreover, Mr. Fikrat Jatak the manager of Younus Imra, the manager of social and psychological guidance Mr. Khaled Nahel, and a number of psychological specialists and presentitves of many organizations which are interested in this field and many students.
Dr. Hosam Ibrahim presented the first research from a group of researches on suicide in the north of Syria.
The research aimed at determining the tendency of suicide and knowing the differences among individuals in the north of Syria taking into account many variables in addition to knowing the reasons for suicide in the north of Syria from the doctor’s and psychological specialist’s point of view in prisons.
The vice dean of the faculty of education Dr. Abdul Hai Mahmoud and the member of the teaching staff in the faculty of Sharia, Dr. Anas Alshbib as well as the criminal specialist Dr. Muhammed Kaheel participated in a conversational symposium about suicide.
The symposium discussed the reasons for suicide and the religion point of view and even society toward this phenomenon and the ways of suicide and how we discover it and even how to solve and prevent it to spread.
The importance of this project comes from the results of wars and catastrophes in the north of Syria which lead to an inbalance in the life system and ways of living and the appearance of many psychological and social problems which form a danger to society.
